I have been looking at Semantic Web and automation in the telecom domain.  How do I store a collection of xml files in Semantic Web database.  I am architecting a prototype of an end to end system using Semantic Web, database, servlet and Flex for GUI end.  I need to work out the details.

I have been away on business trip for the week.  Finally, I got some emails from ecoop.  I will have to look through that and select a paper to write.

I am looking at using Semantic Web to do company wide automation.  We are an engineering oriented company producing hardware and software that have finite behavior.  We should be able to specify the specifications and requirements with no grey area, we do not need human to decode information subjectively.  

I gave a short presentation this week to my director, managers and development team about using semantic web in our development process, mainly use it in conjunction with automation. If we could build a model of the hardware using semantic web to capture the behavior, relationship and entities of the hardware, we could use that information in automation to generate documentations, metadata to run our software, test data to test the application and more. I am now tasked to learn more about it and do another presentation in 2 weeks with more details and do a feasibility study.

I have subscribed to ECOOP mailing list. I would like to create a paper on automation using semantic web, anyone who know where to submit this paper or format for it, please advice.

Semantic Web

I have been busy learning Objective-C 2.0 Programming Language to do iPhone programming. I am also learning how to use the Mac.
At work, there is an initiative to promote automation. I am formulating a plan to tie Semantic Web into this. I am reading some eBooks about Semantic Web to learn more. I want to use Semantic Web to define behavior and relationship of a telecom hardware. If I could do this, then I could use this data to generate metadata to run the hardware, generate test cases and also produce user specification documentation. If there are any changes to the hardware or behavior of the hardware, you will make changes to the data defined in Semantic Web and use automation to regenerate the needed outputs. You only need to make changes in one place. I will be doing a presentation at work this Thursday to show my draft idea.
Next, I will work on selecting a topic and selecting a conference to submit my paper. Maybe I can find a conference to submit a paper on Semantic Wed and automation to improve companies efficiency.
